The soup and bannock will be hot, and the next speaker in our Beyond Land Acknowledgements speaker series has been confirmed. So make sure to reserve your spot now. All are welcome to join the circle.

Sissy Thiessen Kootenayoo will present an inclusion-based information session on gender and sexually diverse Indigenous folks, on historical info, how Two Spirited indigenous peoples were at the forefront of their communities before colonization, and how that’s changed. Traditional roles historically and currently will be addressed, as well as the importance of inclusion and acceptance.

Friday September 20 6:00 to 8:00 pm . No charge. Donations appreciated.

Registration required for in person attendance. Please contact us if your plans change as we do like to have enough food for all, and sometimes there are people on the waiting list.
