Position Details:
Role: Dismantling Barriers Lead
Type: Full-time, 2-year contract (with possibility of extension)
Start Date: Early October 2024
Location: Virtual or based in Toronto, with required travel for key events
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation, Research, and Design: Identify and address systemic barriers within Unitarian and Universalist congregations.
Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with the Executive Director, CUC staff, CUUs of Colour, and other stakeholders.
Implementation: Develop and execute an anti-racism action plan based on the recommendations from the CUC’s Dismantling Racism Study Group.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated commitment to dismantling racism and systemic barriers
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Experience in diversity, inclusion, and justice practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary: $63,600
