Topic: Dark Mirror

Mirror, Mirror on our screen,
Please explain just what you mean.

The British TV series Black Mirror, available on Netflix, presents us a familiar world that is slightly beyond/ahead of our current technologies. Each episode confronts us with moral questions, but the point is typically not fear of that technology, but, as the title indicates, to look into a mirror and see ourselves and our society from a new perspective. Rob reflected on how the show causes us to examine ourselves, particularly how the show reveals that very small decisions can have enormous impact.

Our new Lay Chaplain, Jacqueline Willette, will also be installed at this service.

Speaker: Robert Wiznura
Service Leader/Musician: Harmonia choir, led by Rebecca Patterson, accompanied by Julie Forbes
Service Techs: Bill Lee, Hannah & Lorian Kennedy
